To photograph Robert Downey I went into
the basement of a building in the West Village where he was filming a movie called Pound where the actors played different breeds of dogs. A boxer was dressed like a prizefighter, a Mexican hairless was a man with his head shaved. His irreverent, absurd, almost insane humor is characterized in most of his films such as Chafed Elbows, Putney Swope, Pound, Greasers Palace and Is There Sex After Death? B&W photograph printed from original negative unframed printed on 11" x 14" paper image size: 9" x 10" signed by the artist price: $1000 |
