Louis Faurer created images over the course
of a long career. In addition to fashion
and commercial work, Faurer was an innovative
photographer working primarily in New York City
from the 1930s through the 1970s. Armed with his
35mm camera, he roamed the streets of New York,
Philadelphia and Paris.
His work has influenced
generations of photographers.
